Chief Financial Officer

Jon Baksht is Pactiv Evergreen’s Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for leading all finance functions for the Company, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, strategy and investor relations, treasury, tax and internal audit. 

Jon has served as Pactiv Evergreen’s Chief Financial Officer since May 2022. Before joining Pactiv Evergreen, Jon was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Valaris Limited, a leading global offshore drilling contractor. Prior to assuming the CFO role in 2015, Jon served as Vice President - Finance, where he led all financial planning and analysis and served as the company’s Principal Accounting Officer.

Additionally, Jon served as Vice President - Treasurer, overseeing Valaris’ treasury function. Prior to joining Valaris in 2013, Jon spent seven years in investment banking with Goldman Sachs and started his career as a management consultant with Andersen Consulting.

Jon is the proud father of three and enjoys spending his personal time traveling with his wife and kids. He is also passionate about sports and is an avid follower of his alma mater, UT. 

Jon earned a Bachelor of Science degree with High Honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
