Chief Human Resources Officer

JD is Pactiv Evergreen’s Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, JD is responsible for the company’s global people and communications strategy, including the company’s global talent and culture, diversity, equity and inclusion, learning and development, benefits, compensation and HR excellence, and corporate communications teams.  

JD joined Pactiv Evergreen in 2019. Previously, JD spent nearly 20 years at The Kraft Heinz Company in a variety of Human Resources leadership roles. His experience includes leadership positions across the full range of HR disciplines, with an emphasis on strategic business partner roles. JD is passionate about working with senior leaders and their teams in organizational transformations, cultural change and organizational design. JD has a proven track record of delivering exceptional business results through the development of high-performing teams and individuals through a commitment to continuous improvement methodologies and people-centric, values driven servant leadership.  

JD is the proud father of three and loves to spend his personal time coaching and attending their countless sports and activities throughout the year. When possible, JD and his wife also enjoy traveling, experiencing new areas of the country and abroad. JD is a proud supporter of a variety of local and national non-profit organizations focusing on children’s health, hunger, veteran support and multiple myeloma research.

JD earned a B.A. in Communication Studies from University of Iowa.
