Chief Operations Officer

Douglas “Doug” Owenby is the Chief Operations Officer of Pactiv Evergreen. As the head of Pactiv Evergreen’s Operations Center of Excellence, Doug is responsible for all of the Company’s operating functions globally. Doug’s strategic and customer-based focus consistently drives results and long-term growth.

Doug joined Pactiv Evergreen in September 2021 from Graham Packaging where he served as Chief Operating Officer from 2018 to 2021. In that role, he delivered results by leading the company to achieve strategic initiatives of waste elimination and driving profitable growth.

Doug has more than 30 years of business and operational leadership experience. Prior to joining Graham Packaging, Doug served as Chief Operating Officer for Nexteer Automotive and held various executive leadership roles with Benteler Automotive, BorgWarner Automotive and Bombardier Recreation Products.

Doug received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Saginaw Valley State University.
